Conference 2009: Jamie Allen

The steam locomotive and photography were introduced to the world at roughly the same point in history, and what we discovered while creating the TRACKS exhibition, they took parallel paths within that history.

Jamie M. Allen is Curatorial Associate in the Department of Photographs at George Eastman House. She holds a Master’s of Arts degree in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, and completed her undergraduate studies in Photography and Art history at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Allen is currently working on several in-house and traveling exhibitions, including Tracks: The Railroad in Photographs from the George Eastman House Collection. She also assists with acquisitions, loans and artist submissions.
