B&W of Machine Shop Drill Press: Brian Killigrew, New York, NY.

Here we see the sunlight from a high window illuminating a lone object, an idle drill press on the machine shop floor, standing next to a much larger unused drill press. Think of the craftsmanship needed to operate such machine tools and we wonder what they were last used for on the owning railroad. With little color in the original, a b&w image seems a perfect representation. This and the prior two images remind us of the gorgeous b&w images of noted fine-art rail photographers Joel Jenson and Gordon Osmundson.
