Unusual and intriguing view of the railroad in the desert. The juxtaposed elements are enhanced by a narrow depth-of-field, focused on the foreground. The vivid colors of the sky and the locomotive contrast sharply with the bleached rocks, whose shapes complement the lines of the locomotive’s nose.
