Look closely to find the trains here; there are actually two. This photograph uses the soft light of a diffused sunrise to create a moody and inviting cityscape, highlighting several forms of transportation. The headlight glow at far right is strong enough to give the viewer pause, subtle enough to reflect the place railroads occupy in most Americans’ consciousness.
