Judges' comment:
Headlights from an approaching train illuminate semaphores and track on the grade just north of Exeter, Australia. The photographer made effective use of not only the horizontal curves in the track, but also the vertical curve at the crest of the grade, to draw the eye into this dramatic night photograph.
